Found only in New Zealand’s North Island and Marlborough Sounds, this dark honey is often mistaken for Manuka for its intense toffee flavour and is produced by bees feeding exclusively on the bright red flowers of the Rewarewa tree. Delicious to eat, this honey is also wonderful for cooking. Medium in strength.
